<h2>What are labels in Taurin?</h2><p>Labels in Taurin help you organize your inbox and your relationships.<br>They describe what a message is about, or who a person is to you.</p><p>There are two types:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Email labels</strong> – assigned automatically to messages</p></li><li><p><strong>Contact labels</strong> – assigned manually to people or organizations</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Email labels</h2><p>Email labels describe the context or purpose of a message.</p><p>Taurin’s AI applies these labels automatically when new emails arrive.</p><p>Each message can have multiple labels.</p><p>You can edit or remove them manually if needed.</p><hr><h2>Contact labels</h2><p>Contact labels describe who a person is to you, not just what they’re saying.<br>They are assigned manually, either in the Contact Panel or in the Labels tab.</p><p>They help you sort and prioritize relationships, especially when revisiting conversations over time.</p><hr><h2>How labels are managed</h2><ul><li><p>Only labels defined in your Label Settings can be used</p></li><li><p>Labels can be applied automatically (emails) or manually (emails and contacts)</p></li><li><p>All users start with the same default label set during onboarding</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Filtering by label</h2><p>In the sidebar’s Label Viewer, you can click on any email label to filter your inbox.</p><p>This lets you focus on one category at a time, such as only seeing Requests, Updates, or Promotions.</p><p>Note: The Label Viewer shows email labels only, not contact labels.</p><hr><pre><code>📌 Tip
