Labels in Taurin help you organize your inbox and your relationships.
They describe what a message is about, or who a person is to you.
There are two types:
Email labels – assigned automatically to messages
Contact labels – assigned manually to people or organizations
Email labels describe the context or purpose of a message.
Taurin’s AI applies these labels automatically when new emails arrive.
Each message can have multiple labels.
You can edit or remove them manually if needed.
Contact labels describe who a person is to you, not just what they’re saying.
They are assigned manually, either in the Contact Panel or in the Labels tab.
They help you sort and prioritize relationships, especially when revisiting conversations over time.
Only labels defined in your Label Settings can be used
Labels can be applied automatically (emails) or manually (emails and contacts)
All users start with the same default label set during onboarding
In the sidebar’s Label Viewer, you can click on any email label to filter your inbox.
This lets you focus on one category at a time, such as only seeing Requests, Updates, or Promotions.
Note: The Label Viewer shows email labels only, not contact labels.
📌 Tip
Use labels consistently.
The more you rely on them, the better Taurin can help you sort, filter, and surface what matters most, all without manual effort.
