Taurin lets you write emails from three different entry points, depending on what you’re doing.
Use this when you want to write a brand new email.
You can access it from:
The Compose button in the sidebar
Pressing C from the Inbox, Sent, Archive, or Label views
This opens a centered modal where you can write freely, with no prior thread context.
When you’re viewing a specific thread:
Press R to reply
Press F to forward
This opens an inline editor directly below the email you’re acting on, not in a modal.
It’s perfect for keeping the flow of conversation visible as you respond.
In the Contact Panel, click the pencil icon (✏️) to start a message directly to that contact.
This is ideal when you want to reach out based on past context, without opening the full thread.
Whether you’re using the modal or inline reply, you’ll see:
To
Subject
Body
Your draft is automatically saved, even if you close the window or switch views.
📌 Tip
• Use C for fast access to Compose
• Use R and F to stay in the context of the thread
• Use the Contact Panel when you’re reaching out with context, but no active thread
