Contact labels describe who this person is to you, not just their name or email address.
They help you understand your inbox in terms of relationships, not just messages.
You can label someone as a Customer, Vendor, Investor, and more.
Contact labels are added manually
You can apply or edit them in the Contact Panel, on the right side of any thread
Use a simple click interface to select or deselect multiple labels at once
You can assign multiple labels to the same person
Any label can be removed freely
Only labels defined in your Label Settings are available for use.
If you want to create a new label, you must add it in that settings page first.
Contact labels appear in the Contact Panel on each thread
They are not shown in the sidebar’s Label Viewer. That view is for email labels only
